In Greek mythology, deities don’t have normal blood and instead bleed something called “ichor”. This substance has many attributes, including being toxic to humans and possibly being related to/having the qualities of ambrosia and nectar, the food and drink of the gods, which is what grants them immortality.
Talos is a figure in myth that, when the Argonauts removed the nail sealing his vein of ichor or injured the thin skin around his ankle (depending on the version of the myth) and released the substance, killed him from the equivalent blood loss.
ANYWAY! That’s the end of this scene! We’ll be switching back to our heroine for the rest of the chapter~
